The Bella Terra Subdivision project required a durable and cost-effective solution for a 10-foot span waterway crossing with a 4-foot rise, essential to the development of new road infrastructure. Working closely with 800 Phillips Road, L.L.C., Costich Engineering, and Pooler, Lakelands Concrete Products manufactured a precast box culvert system designed for strength and long-term performance.
To further optimize the design, Stone Strong wingwalls were incorporated to provide superior soil retention and a finished look — all while eliminating the need for more expensive cast-in-place cantilever walls. These large precast components not only enhanced the aesthetics of the crossing but also simplified the installation process. Once delivered to the site, contractor Pooler was able to install the entire culvert system with exceptional speed, maximizing construction efficiency and minimizing disruption.
The result is a smart infrastructure solution that balances form, function, and budget — a perfect fit for this expanding residential community.
