Town of Hume, Municipal Wastewater and Disinfection Improvement

2025

As part of the Town of Hume’s critical infrastructure upgrades, Lakelands Concrete Products supplied a 11’-6” x 21’-0” precast utility building for the municipal wastewater and disinfection improvement project. Engineered by MRB Group and installed by Fineline Pipeline, this building was designed to house key treatment system components in a durable, weather-resistant structure.

The building was constructed with insulated precast concrete walls and a matching precast concrete roof to support energy efficiency and long-term performance. Its exterior was finished with a stained brick formliner to blend into the surrounding environment, while painted steel doors completed the structure with both functionality and visual appeal.

Engineered by Justin Currier, this project is a testament to the versatility and speed of precast solutions in municipal utility applications—delivering both structural integrity and a professional, polished appearance.
